Skills Motor Coaches has returned to Daimler Buses UK for the supply of four Mercedes-Benz Tourismo L 14m tri-axles. Each seats 61 and they follow numerous earlier Tourismos into the award-winning Nottingham fleet.

Among the specification is an entertainment system coupled to twin 21.5-inch monitors along with the standard Tourismo suite of safety systems, including Active Brake Assist 6 and Sideguard Assist 2. A reversing camera is fitted along with peripheral lighting.

PSVAR compliance has been specified with a lift behind the front axle and silver LED destination displays. The coaches are finished in Skills Motor Coaches’ distinctive green livery and have polished alloy wheels.

Power comes from the OM 470 engine developing 390bhp driving via the Powershift eight-speed automated manual gearbox.
