Prentice of Haddington had added another new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 to its fleet, built and supplied by Alexander Dennis.
It is an 8.9m example with 30 seats. Of those, 25 are fixed with three-point belts and the remainder are tip-up positions within the dual wheelchair user and buggy areas.
The Enviro200 is fitted with SmartPack technology that combines engine stop/start, electric radiator fans and auxiliary load management. The model is certified as a Low Emission Bus by Zemo Partnership as a result.
Speaking about the latest arrival, Prentice of Haddington Managing Director Ross Prentice says: “The Enviro200 is the workhorse of our fleet, making up all out bigger buses.
“Alexander Dennis continues to impress us with the buses’ fuel economy, boosted by Low Emission Bus technology. The approachable and honest relationship we have with the sales and AD24 teams tells us that we can count on Alexander Dennis to understand our needs and meet our requirements.”
The manufacturer’s Retail Sales Director Charlie Miller has thanked Mr Prentice for the further business and notes how it indicates that the Enviro200 continues to play a vital role in the East Lothian fleet.
“Thanks again to Ross for supporting us with this new purchase. The process has been quick and easy for everyone involved, helped by our availability of retail stock to our new specification and close collaboration to swiftly move on his existing Enviro200 taken in part-exchange.”
