Crook Hall is a Grade I-listed medieval hall, with beautiful gardens

Two North East garden attractions – Crook Hall and Gardens and Wynyard Hall – have renewed their efforts to attract groups.

Crook Hall, the 13th-century Grade I-listed home in Durham, is working with Steve Reed Tourism to offer a special welcome called the Crook Hall Group Exclusive.

Owned by Maggie and Keith Bell, the attraction will open its doors for a travel trade event organised by Steve Reed Tourism on 16 April at 1030hrs.

The event also offers group tour operators and organisers the chance to stay overnight at Wynyard Hall hotel and gardens on 15 April, with the hotel putting on one of its popular Garden Parties.

Keith Bell says: “We’re glad to be working with Steve Reed Tourism to help introduce our very special home to new generations of groups and coach parties.

“We’ve improved what we offer to groups over recent years – for example, we now have the superb Garden Gate Café to help provide an extra service to our visitors.”

To join the event, contact [email protected] or 01420 560288.
