Wembley’s existing surface coach park is to be replaced by a purpose-built seven-storey coach and car park. The land released will be used for houses and offices.

It is the latest stage in the regeneration of the 85-acres Wembley Park site

The first two levels will be dedicated to 290 coach spaces, with 734 car spaces on five storeys above.

The £41m project is due to open in autumn 2019.

Each coach park level will have its own entrance. Coaches will be organised according to length, height and weight.

The operational management of the multi-storey will be handled by the Wembley Park estates team. It will include a bespoke vehicle management and movements plan to ensure smooth parking in the multi-storey.

It is the latest stage in the regeneration of the 85-acres Wembley Park site, north-west London, due to be completed in 2026.

Developer Quintain bought the site in 2002 with planning for 8.8m sq ft of mixed-use development.

When complete in eight years time, it will have created 8,640 new jobs (not including construction workers) in new offices and shopping developments.

In total 7,000 homes will be built, and Wembley Park will be the largest single-site purpose-built Build to Rent development in the UK, with 5,000 homes, of which 3,000 are under construction this year.

Development of the site – also home to the Arena and Stadium – includes London's first outlet centre which now attracts 7m visitors a year.
