Hitchin operator Richard Taylor Travel has added a VDL Futura FHD2 to its fleet, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

The 12.9m, two-axle coach has 57 Class 300 luxury seats trimmed in Prestige upholstery and with leather headrests and piping. They also come with three-point belts, footrests, drop-down tables and magazine nets.

A Bosch Professional Line entertainment system is fitted along with a fridge, a drinks machine and a toilet. Additionally, the operator has chosen a personalised registration number.

Power is from a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox incorporating an integral retarder.

The FHD2 is also available on two axles at 10.6, 12.2 and 13.5m lengths to complement the 12.9m model.
