Yutong has revealed its zero-emission (ZE) electric airport passenger bus, which it hopes will win orders in the UK. Already 20 are in operation in China at Chengdu, Changsha and Shijiazhuang.

As airports look to improve air quality, the Yutong bus provides zero-emission transport between the plane and terminal.

It has three doors on both sides, for swift loading/unloading of up to 110 passengers, along with air conditioning.

It runs for 138 miles on a single charge. DC charging results in it being ready for service in less than two hours of charging.

Yutong continues to be the world’s market leader in electric buses. A total of 20,345 full electric vehicles were delivered in 2017.

Adds Yutong: “The introduction of airside vehicles increases our comprehensive vehicle range, and will assist in meeting local air quality targets.” alt=”” src=”http://routeonenews.divcomstaging.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/rear_45.jpg” />
