A third new Yutong coach for Featherstone-based Ross Travel is a GT12 tourer, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

It comes with 53 seats with half-leather red trim, a toilet and wood effect flooring. Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 450bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. It follows to previous examples of the TC12 into the West Yorkshire fleet.

Fitted as standard to the GT12 are USB charging points, LED multi-scene mood lighting and a Bosch comprehensive entertainment system. The model also has Alco Dura-Bright wheels and is available with 49, 51 or 53 seats.

Pelican says that the GT12, while designed for long-distance work, is equally at home on local use thanks to its automatic gearbox.
