Early 2022 saw D&E Coaches of Inverness receive the first of three identical PSVAR compliant EX16M models, supplied by Van Hool.

The 13.3m vehicle has 57 seats in black and red trim with USB charging points. Wood-effect flooring is fitted along with a floor-mounted rear toilet, a wheelchair user lift behind the front axle and a continental door at the offside rear.

Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine and the first coach of the three is set off by a cherished registration mark.

The sale was handled by Robert White of Van Hool’s wholly owned UK dealership. The EX range, produced in North Macedonia, complements the Belgian builder’s long-established TX line-up and it is available in a variety of configurations.
