Southall operator New Bharat Coaches has received the first of two PSVAR compliant HD12s, supplied by Temsa Sales UK.

The 12.3m coach represents the first new vehicle supplied by the Cleckheaton dealership. It is a 53-seat example with a centre toilet and a wheelchair user lift immediately behind the nearside front wheel.

Certification was achieved by supplier Cogent and the dealership can now offer ex-factory PSVAR compliance on all new HD12s, something that it is following up with on the smaller MD9.

Power in the HD12 is from a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 410bhp. It drives through a ZF EcoLife gearbox. The driver benefits from an updated cab area compared to the model’s previous generation, including a high-resolution digital dash binnacle.
