Stagecoach South names Engineering Manager pair

Stagecoach South has made two Engineering Manager appointments. Colin Finch (pictured, right) has taken up the role at Worthing depot while Dave Nestor (pictured, left) now holds the same position at Portsmouth. 

Mr Finch is responsible for 53 vehicles and 28 engineering staff. He will be supported by newly appointed Assistant Engineering Manager Daniel Pearce. Mickey Creed has taken up the same Assistant Engineering Manager responsibilities at the operator’s Chichester depot. Each joined Stagecoach as apprentices. 

Mr Finch commenced his career with the group in 2011 as a shift fitter before progressing to mentor apprentices. He was appointed Assistant Engineering Manager at Chichester in 2020. 

Mr Nestor is responsible for 68 vehicles and 33 engineering staff. He came to Stagecoach in 2011 after a 30-year stint in the Army, as a day fitter at Portsmouth. After seven years he left for Lucketts Travel as Engineering Manager, subsequently being promoted to Head of Engineering for the National Express southern region.
