Transport minister set to speak at Clean Buses UK event

Under-Secretary of State for Transport Richard Holden headlines the speaker roster for Global Mass Transit’s second Clean Buses UK conference in London on 12 September.

On the agenda for the event at Park Plaza London Riverbank will be the government’s plans for the transition to zero-emissions buses, the way forward for local authorities and operators and best practices for fleet transition. New technologies, tools and solutions will also be showcased.

Also among those planned to be on stage throughout the day will be Tom Cunnington, Transport for London Head of Buses Business Development; Alison Edwards, Confederation of Passenger Transport Director of Policy; Tim Griffen, Zemo Partnership Project Officer (Bus Working Group) and Greg Ritt, Stagecoach Bus Group Head of Sustainability.

Supporting partners will be CPT, Urban Foresight and Zemo Partnership. Other sponsors includeĀ Alexander Dennis and Heliox.
