Olympia Travel of Hindley has returned to Irizar UK for a pair of i6 integral coaches, both of which are 12.9m, two-axle examples that seat 53.

The delivery takes to 10 the number of Irizar integrals with the operator, which received its first in 2014. Each of the newcomers has drop-down tables, footrests, USB charging points and three-point seatbelts.

PSVAR preparation has been specified by Olympia Travel. Irizar UK describes that as a futureproofing mechanism to protect subsequent residual values, with it enabling straightforward conversion later in life to achieve full compliance.

Drivers and couriers benefit from leather seats, and the coaches each have a vacuum cleaner system to enable cleanliness to be maintained when away from base.

Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
