Great Harwood, Lancashire-based Robinsons Holidays has taken delivery of four B11R-based 9700 integral coaches, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 250210).

Says Director David Lord: “Our coach fleet of 16 is entirely Volvo as we believe that the marque offers the best in terms of appearance, passenger comfort, fuel consumption and emissions.

“The new order marks the first time that we have operated an all-Volvo coach fleet and we are very proud of that fact.

“Previous performance of the B11R chassis combined with the competitive price made the decision to go with Volvo once again easy.”

The 13.8m additions seat 53 or 55 with a demountable toilet and are powered by the 430bhp D11K engine. Drive is taken through Volvo’s I-Shift gearbox.
