Kings Coaches is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2023, and as part of the milestone occasion it has purchased a new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/2. The vehicle has been supplied by Daimler Buses UK.

The latest delivery follows earlier Tourismos into the Colchester fleet. It is a 13m, two-axle model that has 53 seats and a centre sunken toilet. Each position is finished in Softline upholstery with matching green detailing, and has a drop-down table and a footrest.

Benefiting the driver is a heated seat with lateral rotation and a heated windscreen. A reversing camera is coupled to exterior cantrail LED lighting to assist with manoeuvring.

Kings Coaches’ distinctive metallic green livery has been applied, and polished alloy wheels and a cherished registration marking the 70th anniversary complete the effect.
