The 7.9m Optare Solo Slimline will work a Vale of Glamorgan route

Easyway Minibus Hire of Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, has taken delivery of a Solo Slimline, supplied by Optare (01977 687200).

The 7.9m, 27-seater had a Daimler Euro 5 engine and Allison 2100 series gearbox and it will operate a Vale of Glamorgan Council route between Barry and Penarth.

Says Director Richard Morris: “We already have several Solos in our fleet as they are very cost effective to operate and particularly well-suited to use in both urban areas and remote rural locations. Therefore, purchasing another of these vehicles was an obvious choice.”
