Grant Palmer uses video advert to promote Christmas bus travel

Grant Palmer has continued its work with Central Bedfordshire Council via the local authority’s Bus Service Improvement Plan with the release of a Christmas-themed advert to help drive patronage during that key commercial period.

It follows Arthur (pictured), who is described by the operator as being a young monster who accidentally oversleeps while aboard a Grant Palmer bus and finds himself at its depot just before Christmas.

Exploring his surroundings with childlike wonder, Arthur discovers the joys of a bus depot while worrying that he may not get home for Christmas. His luck changes when an early-morning driver arrives for work and delivers Arthur home, ensuring he is there for the big day.

Speaking about the work, Grant Palmer Commercial Manager Thomas Manship says: “Disappointed with the lacklustre efforts from big department stories, we have taken matters into our own hands to create a Christmas adventure that celebrates the magic of the season.

“With single fares at just £2 until the end of the year, there has never been a better time to get onboard and make your own Christmas memories.”

The advert can be viewed on YouTube or via the operator’s website.
