Hammonds Coaches is another independent operator in the East Midlands to choose the Enviro400 double-decker bus, having taken delivery of one supplied by Alexander Dennis.

The vehicle was delivered from stock held by the manufacturer one month after it was ordered by the Nottingham business, including completion in red. 84 high-backed seats are fitted along with three-point belts, wood-effect flooring, and USB-A and USB-C charging points.

Speaking about the purchase, Hammonds Coaches Managing Director Nick Hammond says: “The quick availability of this vehicle from Alexander Dennis has been a real benefit for us, allowing us to quickly add a new bus to our fleet in response to growing demand.

“The Enviro400 provides excellent value for money with its high seating capacity and a robust and easy-to-maintain driveline.”

Alexander Dennis Regional Sales Manager Simon Wood adds: “It has been a real pleasure to support Hammonds Coaches with this new Enviro400 double-decker.

“All our stock vehicles are built to a great specification that we can quickly enhance to meet individual operators’ requirements and get new buses on the road in no time.”
