Mayfair Coaches of London has taken delivery of a Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach. It was handed over by Area Sales Manager Steve O’Neill and has 37 seats in a half leather, red and black scheme.

Amenities include USB and 240-volt charging sockets, a fridge, wood effect flooring, a Bosch entertainment system, lateral shift at aisle positions, and parking sensors with a reversing camera and colour dash monitor. Power is from a Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Purchase of a new TC9 by Mayfair Coaches follows success with a used example. Pelican UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins notes that the latest specification “adds many features that operators and customers find attractive.”

He continues: “We are grateful that Mayfair has chosen to invest in Yutong and Pelican Bus and Coach. This vehicle will surely be a long-time asset and servant to the London company.”
