The collapse of a scheme to redevelop a major part of Exeter has seen the city council backtrack and keep the bus station open after 28 October after all (routeone, News, 27 September).
The £40m scheme for a new bus station and leisure centre plan failed after the council parted company with the developer.
Meanwhile, plans to extend the adjacent shopping centre also fell through. New plans will now be formulated.
