Walsall-based Amans Travel has taken delivery of its second Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, supplied by EvoBus (UK) (02476 626000).

The new coach carries 49 passengers in Luxline part-leather seats with drop-down tables, footrest and three-point belts, while a servery and water boiler add luxury. Entertainment is from a Bosch system coupled to twin 19in monitors and incorporating a DVD player.

Drivers benefit from a high-specification working environment, with a reversing camera monitor mounted within a carbon fibre-finished dashboard that includes Bluetooth connectivity.

Power comes from a 390bhp OM 470 engine that is coupled to Mercedes-Benz’s eight-speed Powershift automated gearbox. Safety fittings include emergency braking and lane departure warning systems.

The new Tourismo joins an earlier example delivered during 2016.
