Banstead Coaches takes a new MB Tourismo

The new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo for Banstead Coaches seats 53

Surrey-based Banstead Coaches has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, supplied by EvoBus (UK) (02476 626000). It is to Touring specification and carries 53 passengers in Travel Star Eco-upholstered seats.

Among its comforts are a Bosch entertainment system coupled to dual 19in monitors and three-point belts, while drivers will benefit from Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging points in the cab and a reversing camera.

Power is from the OM 470 engine rated at 390bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Safety fittings include an advanced emergency braking system and lane departure warning.
