Birmingham International Coaches has added a pair of Yutong GT12s to its fleet, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

They follow hot on the heels of two TC9 midis from the same manufacturer. The GT12s are in the customer’s metallic grey livery and to the model’s usual high standard. 53 seats are complemented by USB and 240-volt power sockets, mood lighting, and a Bosch entertainment system.

Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 449bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Area Sales Manager Lee McMahon completed the deal for Pelican.

Commenting on the further business, UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins says: “We are very grateful that Birmingham International Coaches has again chosen to buy Yutong. These vehicles will prove to be great additions to its fleet.”
