Brent Thomas Coaches’ latest Volvo 9700 joins two earlier examples

Tonypandy, South Wales operator Brent Thomas Coaches has taken delivery of another B11R-based 9700 integral, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

The coach joins two of the same model delivered in 2015 and seats 57. It will be used on the company’s UK and continental tour programme.

Says Operations Manager Neil Grubham: “As ever, it was important for us to purchase the best quality coach and the Volvo 9700 is head and shoulders above its competitors.

“We have been delighted with the 9700s that we have been running, with impressive fuel efficiency as well as a high specification and quality finish.”

The new coach has Bi-Xenon headlights, aircraft-style overhead luggage racks, and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels, among other items.
