Eurocoaches of Bristol has taken delivery of a pair of B11Rs with MCV Evotor bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus.

Both have 53 seats and a centre toilet and are PSVAR compliant to permit use on rail replacement services. Delivery of the coaches represents a continuation of a 20-year relationship between Eurocoaches and Volvo.

The operator credits that long-term arrangement as helping with parts and brand knowledge as well and access to training courses for members of its engineering team.

Like many others in the coach industry, Managing Director Keith Sanzo says Eurocoaches is seeing a high volume of customer enquiries “from schools to private hire and everything in between.” The two Evotors have already been used for European work, including a seven-day trip to Switzerland.

Adds Volvo Bus Regional Account Manager for the South Simon Woolacott: “The feedback on the Volvo Evotors from the drivers at Eurocoaches has been very positive. It is also very rewarding to be able to assist such a loyal customer now the fleet is moving to be fully PSVAR compliant.”
