The 14.07m i8 integral for Howard Snaith now has 40 seats and a kitchen

Northumberland-based Howard Snaith has joined an exclusive club by taking delivery of an i8 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

As built, the coach seated 56, but it has been reconfigured to carry 40 passengers with additional tables.

Factory-fitted equipment includes a toilet, aircraft-style overhead lockers, leather seats with slide-apart functionality, and much else.

Power is from a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 510bhp, and the driveline is just one element of the 14.07m i8 integral that has been well received.

Says Director Howard Snaith: “This is our first coach with a modern DAF engine, and we are very happy with it. The addition of a kitchen cements the i8’s position as our flagship coach for corporate work.”
