Jay and Kay Coach Tours of Dartford has added a further Futura FHD2 to its fleet, supplied by VDL Bus and Coach UK.

It is a 12.2m example that has 48 VDL Class 500 seats with what the dealership describes as “premium upholstery.” Also part of the specification is a carbon effect on the armrests and seat back handles, a water boiler, a fridge, a Bosch multimedia system and alloy wheels.

Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine delivering 410bhp driving through ZF’s EcoLife automatic gearbox. The vehicle is finished in the Kent operator’s distinctive livery.

Delivery of the FHD2 represents further success for Barnsley-based VDL Bus and Coach UK, which was established in 2020 and is wholly owned by the manufacturer.
