Mainline Coaches of Gilfach Goch in South Wales has added a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with coachbuilt Grand Tourer bodywork to its fleet, supplied by EVM UK and finished in iridium silver.

It has 19 seats in real leather with diamond stitching. All come with recline, three-point belts, drop-down tables, magazine nets, and aisle-side folding armrests.

Entry is via a Masats plug door, while at the rear an elevating powered boot door opens to reveal a large boot. Lockers on each side add further luggage capacity, as do twin racks within the saloon.

A roof-mounted Webasto 15.5kW air-conditioning unit is complemented by convector heaters that extend the length of the saloon. A thermostat control is within the cab.

Panoramic double-glazed side windows are complemented by a similarly expansive windscreen with twin roller blinds. A fridge is fitted forward of the passenger door under the dash and the internal effect is set off by wood-effect flooring.

Entertainment is from a multimedia unit including a USB input. It also serves to display the feed from a reversing camera.

On the exterior is the customary front spoiler along with colour-coded bumpers, side mouldings and grille. A chrome styling package completes the appearance.
