Metcalfe Coaches of Carlisle has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an EVM Avantgarde conversion.

It is a 22-seater, with each having a three-point belt and a mixed fabric and synthetic leather finish. Arm rests are fitted at aisle positions. Access to the minicoach is via a Masats plug door, behind which is a three-stage entry step with LED strip lights and stainless-steel inserts.

Side windows are double-glazed, and they are provided with decorative curtains. At the rear the OEM doors are retained, while wood-effect Tarabus non-slip flooring has been specified.

The entertainment system includes saloon speakers within the passenger service units, which also contain LED lights. 15 USB charging points are fitted, including in the cab area. The driver additionally benefits from a reversing camera with a 7in display, and a PA system.

Externally, the Avantgarde is finished in arctic white and it comes with colour-coded bumpers and side mouldings. The customary EVM chrome package is fitted. Power is taken via the nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
