M&J Travel of Newcastle, near Craven Arms, has added a Yutong TC9 to its fleet, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

The new addition is the first TC9 for the family-run Shropshire operator and it has 34 seats that are trimmed in a red-based half-leather scheme. A factory-fitted rear toilet is also part of the package, as are USB and 240v charging points along with a Bosch entertainment system.

PSVAR readiness has been built into the coach, including an additional door ahead of the rear axle, to allow for easy future conversion to full compliance.

Power is from a Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. The coach was handed over at Pelican’s Castleford base to Jonathan Price (pictured) of M&J Travel.
