Tyrers Coaches has taken delivery of its first Neoplan Tourliner. It is a 13.1m, two-axle P10 example that has been supplied by MAN Truck and Bus UK.

The coach has 57 Kiel Avance X seats. It is PSVAR compliant, with access for a wheelchair user via a lift mounted above the front axle. White LED destination displays are fitted and the Tourliner also comes with polished alloy wheels.

It has been finished in the Chorley operator’s distinctive blue, white and gold livery and carries the business’s customary Team Tyrer markings. Power is from the 12.4-litre MAN D26 engine developing 430bhp driving through a six-speed ZF EcoLife 2 automatic gearbox.

Speaking about the conquest business, MAN Truck and Bus Retail Coach Sales Executive Chris Hunt says: “I am absolutely delighted that Tyrers has purchased a new Neoplan Tourliner after a successful period with a demonstration vehicle, which proved itself to be highly fuel efficient and was well received by customers.

“I am sure the coach will serve Tyrers and its passengers well for years to come.”
