Olympia Travel of Hindley has taken delivery of its first Yutong in the form of a PSVAR compliant TC9 supplied Pelican Bus and Coach.

It has 37 seats that are trimmed in a half-leather, blue-based scheme to match the operator’s livery application. They have three-point belts. Among the amenities fitted as standard are USB charging points to each position and 240v sockets.

Wood effect flooring and a Bosch entertainment system are both also present. A lift is fitted ahead of the drive axle and the coach comes with destination displays that have white LEDs.

Power is from the Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

The Greater Manchester operator says that arrival of the TC9 will give it the opportunity to exploit customer demand for mid-sized coaches. For Pelican, the Olympia Travel deal was handled by Area Sales Manager Amelia Crump.
