St Edmunds Travel of Bury St Edmunds has welcomed a first Yutong GT12 to its fleet. It has been supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

The GT12 joins a TC9 with the Suffolk business. That smaller coach has been successful, and the operator’s experience with Pelican and the vehicle manufacturer also contributed to the return custom.

The new arrival comes with the standard GT12 fittings including high-specification seats and USB and 240-volt charging points along with the DAF MX-11 engine developing 450bhp and driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Area Sales Manager Lee McMahon handled the sale for Pelican Bus and Coach. Says UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins: “We are very grateful for this order. Having both our current models is a sign that the vehicles are a first choice for most operators.”
