Skills Coaches has added its first new Yutong vehicles in the form of a pair of TC9 midis, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

In the Nottingham operator’s distinctive livery as applied at the factory in China, they are both 34-seaters. Each includes a floor-level rear toilet and PSVAR compliance.

A half-leather brown-based trim is included along with USB and 240-volt charging points, wood-effect flooring, a fridge, and what the dealership describes as “much more.”

Skills has previously taken used Yutong stock but not new models. The TC9 pair represent further investment by the operator, which has already taken delivery of multiple new coaches in 2024.

Power is from the Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
