The Hairy Coo of Edinburgh has taken delivery of a distinctively coloured Yutong TC9 midi, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

Its orange livery was applied by the manufacturer in China. A matching internal scheme has been chosen, with the seats having orange headrest inserts, piping, and upholstery flecks.

The vehicle comes with Yutong’s customary TC9 fitments including a fridge, a Bosch entertainment system, 240-volt and USB charging points, and wood-effect flooring.

Power is from the Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. The purchase was handled by Pelican Area Sales Manager Dale Ogg.

Speaking about the deal, UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins says: “We are grateful for this order and the confidence that The Hairy Coo has shown with us and Yutong.” The coach was supplied promptly at the beginning of March with a 25-plate registration.
