Edinburgh operator The Hairy Coo has returned to Pelican Bus and Coach for a further Yutong TC9. It is a 73-plate example and a fourth such model for the Leith business, following a previous example that was delivered factory fresh in June.

Fitted to the newcomer are 37 seats in a half leather, red and black scheme. It has the standard list of TC9 creature comforts, including USB and 240v charging points, wood effect flooring, cruise control and much else. It is to PSVAR ready configuration to allow an easy conversion for compliance later in life.

Power comes from the established Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Area Sales Manager Bob Elliott completed the sale for Pelican.

UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins has acknowledged the repeat business, noting that the dealership looks forward “to further additions in the future.” Indeed, a further TC9 purchase was made by The Hairy Coo soon afterwards, he reports. It too is a PSVAR ready example.
