TJ’s Travel of Wakefield has added its third new Yutong purchase of 2023 in the form of another TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

The latest vehicle joins another TC9 and a GT12 that were both delivered this year, alongside various other coaches from the marque. It has 34 seats in a half-leather brown-based trim along with wood-effect flooring and a rear toilet.

PSVAR readiness also forms part of the specification in readiness for future full conversion, as do USB and 240v charging points, a fridge and a Bosch entertainment system, among other amenities. Power is from the customary Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Pelican cites the backup and service received by TJ’s Travel as a reason for its return business with the Yutong brand. Area Sales Manager Amelia Crump (pictured, right) handed over the latest coach to TJ’s Travel Managing Director Jamie Ndlovu (pictured, left).
