80-seat Irizar i4 integrals join Marshalls’ fleet

High-capacity additions to the Leighton Buzzard fleet of Marshalls Coaches are two tri-axle i4 integrals, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

Their purchase has been driven by London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone and the ability to take large parties of children into the capital is key, says Partner Glen Marshall.

“We had heard some very good reports about Irizar integrals, both in terms of the vehicles and the reputation for customer service and aftersales support from the manufacturer.”

At 13.6m long, the coaches each have DAF’s MX-11 engine rated at 410bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Seats have synthetic leather headrests and they are fitted with all-age three-point belts. Matching ski boxes have also been provided.
