Alexander Dennis (ADL) has appointed Martin Brailey (pictured) to lead the company’s UK sales team following a restructure which it says will “ensure continued customer focus and responsiveness”.

As Sales Director UK and Ireland Martin brings 30 years of coach and bus industry experience to the role. For the last 13 years he has been ADL Sales Director for London. He takes over from Arthur Whiteside, who retired in 2019.

Martin will be supported by Richard Matthews, who continues to lead the company’s retail sales team, and Keith Watson, who continues in a sales development role, aligning technology developments with customer requirements while overseeing key accounts.

Billy McFie is to play a lead role in the sales team, providing financial and commercial packages to customers.

“This is an exciting development for Martin and the team as we refocus following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our industry,” says ADL President and Managing Director Paul Davies. “I am confident we have the right team in place to support our customers and partners to build back the bus industry, encourage passengers on board and help the nation to get moving again.”
