For over 30 years, Q’Straint has led the industry with the continual release of innovative solutions ensuring the safety of wheelchair passengers across WAV, minibus and M3 public bus travel.

In 2014, Q’Straint opened its iQ Research Centre of Excellence within its European HQ in Whitstable.

Housing the very latest technology for both simulating dynamic crash test simulations and a Full Vehicle Seat Belt Anchorage Test System, the facility allows Q’Straint to increase its R&D capabilities and the speed at which it brings innovative, fully tested solutions to market.

In an industry where passenger safety is key, rigorous testing of all market solutions is vital to ensure standards are kept to and as a result, customers are provided with full testing certificates.

Says Andy Cumming, MD of Q’Straint: “With our investment in the facility, we can research, test, certify and deliver the next generation of securement systems to market, thereby improving safety for everyone.”
