Lloyds Coaches has added another Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single-deck bus to its fleet.
The Powys-based operator will use the Euro VI-engined vehicle on routes around Mid and North Wales.
At 10.8m in length, the new Enviro200 has 40 seats and is longer than the five 9.7m-long examples delivered last year.
Each seat has three-point seatbelts for passenger safety on the mainly rural routes.
Another feature is the Alexander Dennis SmartPack efficiency technology.
The Enviro200 adds to several Lloyds Coaches has purchased from Alexander Dennis since 2006 through Regional Sales Manager Simon Wood.
Managing Director Dan Lloyd says: “Following the solid performance of our existing Alexander Dennis Enviro200 buses, which are delivering great fuel economy on our rural network, we are pleased to have chosen another Enviro200 for our local services.
“We expect that this bus will again be popular with our passengers and drivers.
“Aftersales support is very important to us as it keeps the vehicles doing their daily work. Together with AD24 service teams, Simon Wood has been very supportive of our company.”
Mr Wood adds: “Thanks to Dan and his team for choosing us for another new Enviro200.
“I’m sure this new low-emission bus will again be a reliable vehicle for Lloyds Coaches’ extensive network of local services, and will help keep operating costs to a minimum thanks to its efficient driveline.”
