Neil Gladstone has been named E-Mobility Manager by EvoBus (UK). The role will see him responsible for the launch and sale of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro, which recently debuted in the UK.

The appointment builds upon Neil’s over five years’ retail sales experience in the coach market with EvoBus (UK) and additional knowledge of the UK bus sector in aftersales.

The Coventry dealership believes that the current focus on zero-emission vehicles, including that brought about by the National Bus Strategy for England, gives “a unique opportunity” to showcase what it describes as “a benchmark product” in the eCitaro.

Adds Director of Sales Jonathan Prime: “With Neil’s previous experience, he fits seamlessly into the e-mobility role. His broad product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the needs of the industry enable him to work closely with customers, infrastructure providers and our network partners to firmly establish the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro in the UK and Irish markets.

“We have great confidence in both Neil and the product as we look to build for the future.”
