For two award winning attractions in Carnforth, Lancashire, 2017 is looking set to be a busy year, as they team up to bring a new opportunity to group visitors.

John and Lucy at the Heritage Centre

After winning the “Great for Groups” award at the Lancashire Tourism Awards, the team at Leighton Hall have seen a surge in coaches and group visitors.

Meanwhile, Carnforth Station Heritage Centre scooped the prestigious prize of “Best Small Visitor Attraction” at this years’ ceremony.

Now the teams at each venue are working together to entice even more visitors to the North West.

Visitors arrive at the Heritage Centre at 1030hrs and can discover a range of exhibition areas, a retail outlet, can treat themselves to something from the refreshment rooms where the iconic movie Brief Encounter was filmed.

Then it’s back on the coach and off to Leighton Hall where afternoon tea, guided house tours, gardens and a birds of prey display awaits.

Available all year round to groups of 25 or more. Pre-booking is essential
