Parkeon has appointed Anthony O’Brien as its new Key Account Manager to support and develop its bus sector relationships.

Anthony joins Parkeon from a leading CCTV company, where he was responsible for business development within the UK bus market.

In his new role, Anthony will be focused on delivering on-vehicle retail and back office requirements for key national account Arriva, supporting northern area and Scotland customers, and driving CCTV opportunities with public transport operators.

Says Anthony: “Parkeon is an established market leader in the bus sector and is at the forefront of technological innovation to help operators map their route to an increasingly contactless future.

“My background will enable me to assist current and prospective customers on this journey and to provide expert insight into the provision and integration of CCTV systems to enhance security for operators and make bus travel safer for passengers.”

Parkeon is a leader in automatic fare collection, back office and real time information systems for the bus sector and is currently helping numerous operators along a technology pathway that includes contactless and account-based ticketing.
