Roberts Travel Group has commenced work on an expansion to its passenger departure lounge.

The Leicestershire-based business promises that the upgrade to the lounge, which has served passengers for 16 years, will feature contemporary designs to add to functionality and comfort, improved amenities and enhanced seating. The business says that the changes will also streamline pre-departure operations.

Roberts Travel Group says the extension is being carried out in response to customer feedback and an increase in traveller numbers.

The coach firm says it is committed to minimising disruptions for passengers while the work is under way.

Jonathan Hunt, owner and Chairman of Roberts Travel Group, says: “This expansion underscores our dedication to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

“We are excited to see this new space come to life and to offer a departure experience that truly sets us apart.

“Our customers’ support has been instrumental in this journey, and this new lounge is a direct reflection of our gratitude and our promise to provide a superior travel experience.”
