The Transport Made Simple (TMS) group of operators has announced the formation of a new senior leadership team.
Five industry professionals have been appointed from both inside and outside the group, which is composed of the Central Connect, Flagfinders and Simonds operating divisions.
Peter Nathanail remains as Group Managing Director of the business, which he co-founded with Dominic Kalantary as Vectare in 2016.
Mr Kalantary, who was previously Finance Director, remains a shareholder and will now sit as a non-executive director.
Rory Macildowie will become Finance Director, also taking responsibility for human resources. He joins from KPMG, where he was Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Director.
Non-executive director Alex Carter has taken the full-time role of Interim Operations Director.
Mr Carter, who has 40 years’ experience in bus operations, strategic and commercial planning, senior directorship, and consultancy roles, retired as First South West Managing Director in 2021. He maintained his involvement with the operator as board member for its Specialist Passenger Solutions division until 2023. He was Head of Transport at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Adam Hemingway moves from being General Manager at Central Connect to the group-wide Head of Network role.
Adrian Tant, TMS Engineering Director, will have an expanded team to support ongoing work towards standardising engineering delivery across the group as it works towards achieving DVSA Earned Recognition status.

TMS, which is wholly owned by Mr Nathanail and Mr Kalantary, operates a fleet of 195 PSVs across the East Midlands and East of England and employs a team of 400.
Formed by acquisitions of Gardner Travel, Galleon Travel, Flagfinders and Simonds, TMS says it expects to announce further expansion by means of business purchases over the course of this year and 2026.
