Fleet intelligence and management software company Tranzaura Group has announced the acquisition of transport software provider Truckfile.

The deal means Tranzaura will host and manage 400,000 fleet assets daily using advanced technology and multi-layered security as it grows its footprint in the HGV and PSV vehicle maintenance and compliance field.

Truckfile, which has more than 20 years’ industry experience, will continue to operate independently, with Tranzaura assuring customers “it’s business as usual”.

However, the new parent company promises customers will benefit from additional “cutting-edge technologies, unlocking new efficiencies, enhanced compliance, and data-driven insights to optimise fleet operations”.

Shane Mann, CEO of Tranzaura Group, says: “By bringing together two leading providers in the industry, this partnership is set to drive innovation, modernise fleet management, and ensure customers remain competitive in an evolving market.

“Truckfile has been a trusted name in fleet management for two decades, offering a road-tested product that is widely adopted in the UK.

“We are excited to join forces, combining our expertise, resources, and reputation to drive innovation and elevate customer experience. Together, we are set to disrupt a mature market with the latest advancements in fleet intelligence and management software.”

Paul Whittingham, Managing Director of Truckfile, adds: “The acquisition of Truckfile by Tranzaura marks an exciting chapter in Truckfile’s journey. Over the past 20 years, we have been dedicated to supporting our valued customers, while consistently developing cutting edge solutions through collaboration with industry leaders.

“This exciting phase in the Truckfile journey will work to preserve those relationships while allowing us to offer a wider range of software and services to drive new opportunities and continue pushing the boundaries.”
