Thomas Dover, 4, was on hand to accept a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/2 supplied to Hetton-le-Hole operator Dovers Coaches by EvoBus (UK) (02476 626000).

It has 57 Travel Star Eco seats and comes with a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. The coach complements a shorter 12m special edition Tourismo with 51 seats that was delivered in May.

Area Sales Manager David Hobson handed over the most recent coach. He says: “The quality of service provided by Dovers exceeds customers’ expectations, and that is reflected in the repeat purchase of a Tourismo.”

Dovers Coaches has almost 60 years’ experience and has remained in family ownership for all that time. It was founded in 1960 by Albert “Sonny” Dover and his wife Muriel.
