Parkers Executive Coaches adds a Yutong GT12

Parkers Executive Coaches, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, is the latest operator to take delivery of a Yutong GT12, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

The GT12 is Parkers’ first full-size Yutong. It was purchased after Managing Director Simon Rudd viewed another operator’s example. Good experience with, and support for, a TC9 also factored in.

53 seats and a centre sunken toilet are fitted, along with a host of other amenities. The GT12 is powered by a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 450bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Axles are also from ZF.

Parkers Executive Coaches’ metallic grey livery was added after arrival in the UK, although Pelican can arrange for coaches to be painted in China.
