Passenger Plus selects UK Fuels as sole supplier

Passenger Plus has selected UK Fuels to be the sole fuel supplier for its 50-strong fleet, which consumes around 50,000 litres per month.

Managing Director Mark Drury says the decision was made thanks to a combination of the buying power of Passenger Plus and the UK Fuels online portal.

The latter allows Passenger Plus “to control all aspects of our fuel card account from a mobile app, giving much better visibility of our spend. It also allows us to group spend by contract, vehicle, location or driver,” he adds.

“This powerful reporting tool allows excellent cost analysis and it makes comparison across our fleet much simpler.”

Mr Drury adds that operating from several different sites posed a challenge for fuelling in the past. Passenger Plus required four fuel card brands to enable its vehicles to use the most convenient garages. That led to a situation where it needed to constantly monitor fuel costs – something that “was both time consuming and challenging.”
