Shiel Buses of Acharacle has taken delivery of an Enviro200, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

The 9.7m, 34-seat example has a Cummins ISB4.5 engine and an Allison gearbox.

Shiel Buses specified leather upholstery with seatbelts and CCTV cameras. The bus also has wood effect flooring and USB charging points.

The Enviro200 will support the operator’s extensive network in the Scottish Highlands. It has been purchased on the back of a strong relationship with the manufacturers, says Director David McGillivray.

“We have grown our reputation over the years, secured more routes and progressively expanded our fleet. We are established in the transport landscape in the Highlands, but to stay in that position we need to remain focused, provide quality services and take nothing for granted.”
